We can serve summons issued by a foreign court in a civil or criminal case to a party living or based in India. The service of process can be done anywhere in India by our trained and experienced process servers. Where the defendant or respondent is an individual, the summons is served by delivering a copy to him or her personally. In case it is not possible to do so, we will inform you and will seek further instructions. One of the options is that our process server can hand over the summons to a person of suitable age and discretion who lives with defendant or respondent in the same house. This is called Substituted Service and is accepted as a proper means of process service in most of the jurisdictions.
